News: SwapClear Fee Structure Updated | Go Ultimate

10 April 2013 | Bill Hodgson

SwapClear have published their new fee schedule which remodels the service fees around amounts of trade activity. Above 30,000 trades per year will cost £2.25m, and levels beneath that provide smaller charges with a cap. The client schedule may have been updated too but I don't have the previous version of of the page. The full details can be found here.

Here are the CME and Eurex fee schedules for comparison. http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/interest-rates/files/CME-IRS-Customer-Fe... quick skim across all 3 CCPs suggest they all charge booking and maintenance fees on a per notional basis with different volume bands / discount schemes for clearing members. All have the concept of standard and high turnover client fee schedules with high turnover substituting a per IM fee of 10bps (all are the same) for maintenance fee per notional.Related cost items like IM itself and also CME's apparently free SDR are covered separately.

The previous SwapClear tariff for direct members topped out at 1.5m I believe.
